Lamb - Rump

Lamb Rump is a cut known for its versatility in terms of the number of ways in which it can be prepared. This is a fairly sizeable portion of meat and does not contain any cross-wise meat fibers, which makes it an easy to carve cut. Except for a removable layer of fat on top, this leg muscle is quite lean. It is typically available as a 1-1 ½ lb (500g) portion in retail.
